Discussion to the end of the exhibition "Moscow Fabrics". "Modern trends in textile design"

On February 1, in the space of the Moscow Fabrics exhibition, a discussion will be held on “Modern Trends in Textile Design”, which will discuss the history of the development of textile design, new style trends in the art of textiles and its connection with modern culture.

The Moscow Fabrics project represents all the stages of development of Moscow textile production and demonstrates why the textile industry is so important for understanding the culture of the 20th century.

Fabric pattern as a reflection of reality; textile design and community requests; new trends and the influence of modern technologies, environmental agenda, growing information flows; the style of the drawing and its connection with the rhythm of urban life; textile design of the past and its relevance today; personal past, past of the country, our present and ideas about the future as sources of inspiration in textile design - we will talk about all this at a meeting in the space of the Moscow Fabrics exhibition.

The discussion was organized jointly with the HSE School of Design and Solstudio Textile Group.
