From February 18 to 29, 2020, the annual educational creative project of the artist Ekaterina Kondrashina will be held in the halls of the Volga branch of the Russian Academy of Arts.
This time it received the name "Wonderful Country" - a country of painting, drawing, drawing and composition, sculpture and applied art.
The exhibition unites those who want to engage in artistic work at a competent, professional level, regardless of age, place of work or study. The teachers of the studio know for sure that the skills acquired in the art classes never disappear in vain, enriching the life of a person of any kind.
One of the students comprehends the initial stage in the Studio of Ekaterina Kondrashina on Kolomenskaya and Tretyakovskaya, while in the meantime others have already chosen a professional path and study at art schools, colleges and universities in Moscow. And there are students of the “silver age” who have come into contact with the beautiful quite recently, having already retired. They were united by the Moscow Longevity program. All works are performed in different styles and techniques. The purpose of the exhibition is to show the diversity and diversity of students.
Ekaterina Kondrashina’s Palette Studio originates in 2006 when an evening group of drawing was created in the south of Moscow in a simple comprehensive school. Over the years there have been a number of transformations and changes. A small group of children, gathered by a desire for creativity, grew up in a serious school with its own individual instructional program. It is this base that makes it possible to receive professional art education from the very basics, the opportunity to prepare for art schools, creative colleges and universities. This happened due to the academic education of the studio teachers, who can find an individual approach to each student, regardless of his age. The youngest is a little over four years old, and the more mature over seventy.
You can not underestimate the contribution of Anna Vladimirovna Pylaeva - a wonderful fine artist and teacher, invited to the studio several years ago. She enriched the palette of students’ knowledge, expanded her horizons and introduced filigree in teaching methods. The academic pictorial and sculptural experience of Ekaterina Kondrashina is complemented by the design direction and graphic school passed by Anna Pylaeva. The rich creative experience of teachers, combined with the desire to pass it on to students, gives students a voluminous and deep section of knowledge.
“Wonderful country” opens the way to the world of creativity, expands the prospects for further professional growth. After all, participation in exhibitions is a report on the work done, obtaining new skills and analyzing your existing skills, and for those who are exhibiting for the first time, this is the beginning of their creative experience.
All the paintings presented in the exposition were the result of studio and plein air work and creative trips to Russia and abroad. Students of the Palette studio, thanks to the organizational abilities of the leader, actively participate in international practices, training programs, lectures, competitive and exhibition activities. A high level of training often takes prizes. And age is not important, the main desire is to learn and learn new things.
The teachers of the studio give a lot of strength and energy to the formation of an artistic personality. An educational channel was created for students on YouTube, where everyone can consolidate the knowledge gained in the lessons, once again attend exhibitions, lectures and master classes of the studio. This direction - cognitively developing - is as important as practical classes in painting, graphics and design. Video lectures on the history of fine art, on the basics of various art techniques, theoretical homework on composition and color science. All this has recently become a serious addition to practical studio classes.
It is very symbolic that the work of very young artists and mature Muscovites of the older generation hang on one wall. And the exhibition opens with paintings and author’s graphics by the author of the project, Ekaterina Nikolaevna Kondrashina and watercolors Anna Vladimirovna Pylaeva.
Feeling confident in your abilities, showing and showing your talent is what this project gives.
And even if not all participants become professional artists, the love of art will remain forever and this is the most important thing!
