Excursion to the exhibition "Bob Colbrener. Why nature?"

April 8, at 13.00, the Gallery of Classical Photography invites you to a tour of the exhibition “Bob Colbrener. Why nature? ”

Bob Kolbrener (Bob Kolbrener) - a classic of American art photography, who began his career under the direct supervision of Ansel Adams. Over the course of fifty years of work, he has retained the principles of “direct” shooting and printing without using digital technologies or the possibilities of the printing process. Nature in Bob’s photographs is presented as it could be seen at the moment when the shot was taken.

The exhibition brings together more than 40 black and white photographs of Colbrener, most of which were shot from 1974 to 1999 - at the peak of the photographer’s career, and emphasizes his special approach to landscape photography.

During the tour you will learn how Bob’s photographic destiny is connected with Yosemite National Park, Ansel Adams and his work, about the masters of American landscape photography of the 20th century, about the special way the photographer works.
