Alpert Gallery presents an exhibition of works by the artist Eugene Amaspure, one of the few working realist masters of this old school. The exposition "Fragments", which will unfold from December 3 to 18, contains about two dozen paintings and graphic works created by the author in different years.
On large canvases - fragments of the surrounding reality: the artist’s workshop, yard, neighboring street, random passers-by. The artist is called "the first hyper-realist of Moscow", because the world around us is transmitted with almost photographic accuracy. However, this cannot be misleading. Each work of the author is not a simple cast from reality. His works are filled with symbols, each of them is a figurative "text", which is a great pleasure for the viewer to read.
All the works of the artist displayed in the exposition are fragments, of which, like a mosaic, a large whole is formed - the work and life of the unique artist Evgeny Amaspyur.
Evgeny Abramovich Amaspur was born in 1944 in Moscow. He graduated from the Art Academy. Stroganova. Since 1981, a member of the Ministry of Agriculture. The author of many completed projects of international and Russian exhibitions. The main project of the artist is the Vladimir Mayakovsky Museum on Lubyanka Square.
His works are in galleries and private collections in Russia, the USA, France, Italy and Germany.
