Evgeny Krylov is an experimental artist working with various materials and techniques. Its incredibly rich imaginative world literally grows out of the life of materials: at the base of some sheets - a stain of paint or a coffee blot.

The author’s world is inhabited by people-moths, alrauns, leprechauns, revived roots and gnomes - the products of folk fantasy. Behind some comic characters lies the artist’s awe-inspiring view of the diversity of nature. Creating his Pinocchio and angels, Krylov intuitively masters the tools that once lay at the origins of the creation of the world.
