The annual exhibition of easel sculpture works by members of the Sculpture Department of the Russian Academy of Arts

December 6 in the halls of the Russian Academy of Arts (Prechistenka, 21) opens the annual exhibition of easel sculpture by members of the Sculpture Department of the Russian Academy of Arts. A permanent participant in this exhibition is the president of the Russian Academy of Arts, Z.K. Tsereteli.

The process of globalization and the return of the peoples of Russia to faith, avant-garde trends and realistic traditions characterize the complexity of the picture of contemporary art. Today’s life poses new challenges for artists. The creativity of contemporary sculptors enriches domestic art with an appeal to the spiritual world of contemporaries, the history of our country, and a desire to penetrate deeper into the meaning of the surrounding reality. The exhibition reveals the diversity of art trends of our time and is a great opportunity to see the works of leading sculptors.
