City public art object "MUSIC OF MUSIC"

Gallery-workshop “Varshavka” of the Association “Exhibition Halls of Moscow”, the Fume Museum (Nazzano, Italy), the Association of Cultural Figures “Fabula” (Italy) in partnership with the New Byzantium Studio, with the support of the Ismail Akhmetov Foundation present a city public art object MUSIC MUSIC

Participants of the Pictor Imaginarius * project at the Varshavka Gallery Workshop create a large-scale mosaic that they mount around the arch at 75 Varshavskoye Shosse, building 1. Through the efforts of an international team of artists, MUSIC MUSIC will appear in the capital.

As part of the Pictor Imaginarius ** project, Italian artists met with Russian colleagues and worked on mosaics for Moscow for several days.

MUSIC MUSIC - this is the new sound of art in an urban environment. Art objects in the metropolis create distinctive features of the place, change emphasis, make typical buildings unique and recognizable. Art in an urban environment offers a special format for communication between a city dweller and space. Monumental mosaic works change not only the image of the city, but also the atmosphere of off-center areas of the city.

The MUSIC MUSIC project has become one of the formats for the implementation of the Art in the City program initiated by the Moscow Exhibition Halls Association.

The opening of the mosaic will take place to the music. The curators and artists of the Pictor Imaginarius project will answer questions from citizens and journalists.
