From the Komi Republic to the banks of the Neva

On February 8, at 19.00, the exhibition of Nadezhda Kamyshova “From the Komi Republic to the banks of the Neva” opens at the Museum of Contemporary Art ARTMUZA /13 line V.O., 70/.

Collecting the philosophy of the North from birth, the author was inspired by the landscapes of the endless expanses of the taiga, clear mountain rivers, special, tasty and clean air with snow-white snow on frosty days.

The nature of the Komi Republic is changeable, harsh and unpredictable, like a watercolor mark on paper, always different, always unexpected, but at the same time fascinating, allowing you to look for new picturesque images, as in the light refraction of the air of the unusual beauty of wild nature.

Watercolors by Nadezhda Kamyshova are snapshots of memory, and the taste of these pleasant moments is expressed in the exhibition with bouquets of flowers. Images of “shards of heaven on Earth,” from field daisies to ceremonial roses, surround a person everywhere, wherever he is. The beauty of flowers is fleeting, but the joy they bring remains in the heart; we give them to each other, embodying them in our feelings and emotions. And a watercolor inflorescence on paper leaves a state of delight forever, accumulating the positive aspects of transparent color nuances in bouquets.

St. Petersburg, where she studied and realized herself as an individual, captivated Nadezhda Kamyshova. Now she is creating in the city on the Neva, in a city with an incredible history, beautiful buildings, a special natural landscape, an insane pace, and never ceases to be surprised and discover the subtle facets of life’s meaning. Not trivial views, but an artistic view of architectural motifs, daily dynamics, color solutions and interesting shots of the special St. Petersburg environment are presented in the author’s sketches.

Through the vibrant watercolors of landscapes and flowers at the exhibition, a delightful atmosphere of the northern beauty of Komi and magnificent images of the Northern capital are created.
