Fine and decorative arts of the Kyrgyz Republic

On June 23, 2017 at 15.00 in the National Art Gallery "Khazine" of the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan, within the framework of the Days of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Tatarstan, an exhibition of artists of the Kyrgyz Republic will open.

The exhibition presents the best paintings of recent years by famous artists of Kyrgyzstan, who work in different styles. The works of folk artists of the Kyrgyz Republic Yu. Shygaev, B. Sheraliev, A. Dzhumabekov, Honored Art Workers of the Kyrgyz Republic A. Baiterekov and S. Torobekov, K. Bekov and other artists reflect the surrounding world, the spiritual and cultural life of the republic.

A special place at the exhibition is occupied by the collection of arts and crafts. Created over the centuries, the decorative and applied art of the Kyrgyz people is original and diverse, combining practical, utilitarian value and rich decoration of objects. The main visual aids are color and ornament. The exhibition presents patterned pile carpets - kilems and felt carpets - shirdahs from the remote depths of Kyrgyzstan, as well as works of felt art by honored cultural figures of the Kyrgyz Republic, professional artists R. Akmatova, F. Sheysheeva and A. Baiterekov. A large place among the home crafts of the Kyrgyz people is weaving and artistic processing of leather. The exhibition presents tapestries and leather works by artists Zh. Zholdoshbaeva, E. Temirkanov, S. Soronbaev and others.

Kyrgyz folk art evolved on the basis of centuries-old traditions and absorbed all that was new that brought time.

The exhibition "Fine and Decorative Arts of the Kyrgyz Republic" will run until June 30, 2017.
