Estrin Code in Gallery A3 Automatic translate
The prominent Russian architect Sergey Estrin has been drawing enthusiastically for many years. His graphics are both an opportunity to comprehend architectural ideas, and a non-standard way of communicating with the customer, and a means of persuasion, the first and last argument.
In the halls of the gallery A3, an attentive viewer will be able to unravel the architectural, and possibly life "code" of Sergei Estrin. The central section includes about 70 graphic works. The author enters into a dialogue with rebel architects of the era of the French Revolution, who easily parted with tradition and indulged in free imagination. Sergey Estrin uses a wide variety of techniques, from mascara, feather, watercolors, classical for this kind of art, to experimental and author’s - paints on fabric on paper or gold leaf on glass.
Another part of the exhibition is dedicated to the broad architectural practice of Sergey Estrin. The installation includes selected design tracing papers, sketches and caricatures, which tell with humor about the fascinating but difficult life of the architect.
An unusual solution to the space allows the viewer not only to directly look, but partly to enter the world of fantasy, to feel his lines of force in a large-scale video projection.
Estrin’s graphics are convincing and graceful, whether it is a game of baroque forms in Italian squares, the ringing verges of German Gothic, or super-futuristic panoramas of cities not yet seen. Estrin’s works are actively in contact with the viewer, although they are free from direct plot. Their narrative is on a different level and is manifested in the game by the scale and complex emotional history, understandable on an intuitive level.
Sergey Estrin is the founder and chief architect of the well-known Russian architectural studio AMSE. Sergey Estrin personally takes part in the work on each project of his company and is the author of the ideas of most of them. Among the works of the workshop are such objects as the synagogue on Bolshaya Bronnaya, multifunctional, retail and office buildings in Moscow, Novorossiysk, Nizhny Novgorod, Nizhnevartovsk, interior solutions for the Legion-1 business center, offices for Baker & McKenzie, Aeroflot - Russian Airlines ”, penthouses in Moscow and Rome.
