The lecture opens the educational cycle of the Center for Photography, aimed at international cooperation and exchange of experience. The task of the new cycle of lectures and meetings is a detailed examination of photography in the system of modern media, determining its position and capabilities in visual culture, as well as the form in which photographs will reach the viewer. Lecture by independent curator, critic and photo editor Lars Vilyumet “(De) formation of photography. Swiss photographers in a flood of change ”is dedicated to the multifaceted nature of photography, the rethinking of artistic practices and research methods based on the photographic image.
