Workshop on the traditional Chinese technique of printing woodcuts. At the master class, viewers will get acquainted with the Chinese technique of printing wood engraving, which differs from the Western one in greater simplicity, thanks to such important materials as rice and bamboo paper, Chinese ink, invented in the Middle Kingdom. It will describe in detail the production method of these materials and demonstrate the printing process itself. Everyone will be able to take part in this and print the engraving on their own.

The master class will be held by the director of the Museum of Traditional Art of the Peoples of the East Alexandra Burova.
