"People. Cities". Photo exhibition by Kirill Simakov

The Russian Academy of Arts presents an exhibition of works by Kirill Simakov “People. Cities.”, The exposition of which will include about 100 works of the photographer.

The city is a world created by people. The creation of this world radically changed the person himself. The city lives the life of people, and people live the life of the city, like invisible threads connect people and cities. People continue their journey, meet the sunrises and see them off, dream!

At the exhibition, the author will also present his project "The NINE" - a series of works that evoke in the viewer many associations, feelings and thoughts, proving that nature does not tend to repeat itself, creating masterpieces. Every sunset, every metropolis, every person is beautiful and unique in their own way.

Kirill Simakov is a Russian photographer. Born on August 15, 1984 in Moscow.

Taking a great interest in photography, he was engaged in organizing and conducting photo sessions of world celebrities and outstanding figures of art and politics, he was repeatedly a curator of exhibitions, as well as an editor of book-albums. The author’s portfolio includes photographs of V. Lanovoy, D. Medvedev, Steven Seagal, M. Gorbachev, B. Efimov, Paul Walker, V. Etush, Al Pacino, V. Putin, A. Nemov, Y. Solomin, V. Fetisov, Woody Allen, Elie Wiesel, M. Plisetskaya, Romero Britto, I. Apeksimova, Z. Tsereteli, Ralph Fiennes, M. Gorevoy, Mark Kostabi, A. Batalov, Lang Lang, Denis DeVito, K. Shakhnazarova, Megan Fox, Rimas Tuminus, V. Dobronravov, Mark Zakharov, Y. Medvedev, V. Naumov, T. Gverdtsiteli and many others.

In 2016 he opened a working studio in Moscow. In 2018-2019 is the official ambassador of Leica Camera in Russia. In 2019 - a participant of the RedDot exhibition as part of ArtBasel Miami’19. 2020 - bronze medalist of Mifa2020 in the category "Architecture". In 2020 - participant of SHANGHAI INTERNATIONAL ART FAIR.

Kirill’s photographs have repeatedly adorned the covers of famous publications, were published in newspapers and magazines, and were exhibited in prestigious private galleries in Italy, the USA, and the UK. Many Russian and foreign musicians and actors use Kirill’s works for their posters.
