Master class by the president of the Russian Academy of Arts ZK Tsereteli at the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Paris

On June 17, 2015 in Paris at the Russian Center for Science and Culture, President of the Russian Academy of Arts, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador ZK Tsereteli held a master class for students of Russian and French schools in Paris.

The lesson was attended by children aged 5 to 14 years. Tsereteli painted a still life with bright summer colors during the master class, and offered young artists complete freedom of creativity. Children who carefully watched the work of the maestro, copied the artistic techniques and colors of the work. At the end of the master class, each child’s work received an approval from the master.

The master class at the RCSC has become a traditional event, which is held as part of the annual meetings with Russian art in Paris.

This year, under the auspices of the Russian Academy of Arts, the Russian World Gallery, with the support of the RCSC, organized an exhibition of works by contemporary Russian artists in Paris, which included works by the President of the Russian Academy of Arts Z.K. Tsereteli - a sculptural composition “Good conquers evil”, as well as a still life with flowers, created by him at the master class.

Master classes by the President of the Russian Academy of Arts Z.K. Tsereteli, which he regularly holds in the Art Gallery, have long been very popular, both in Russia and abroad. For many gifted children, they have become an integral part of their creative daring. A master class is a chance for each child to reveal his abilities, communicate with the maestro and gain new artistic experience, as well as freedom of creativity without any restrictions and complete self-expression.
