"World through culture" in the works of young artists

September 8 at the Irkutsk Regional Art Museum. V.P. Sukachev will open the II international exhibition and competition of graduate works of art graduates of higher and secondary professional educational institutions of Russia, Korea, China and Mongolia. The exhibition is held as part of the International Cultural and Educational Festival "Peace through Culture", dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Russian section of the Central Asian expedition N.K. Roerich, and is dedicated to the 355th anniversary of the city of Irkutsk.

The main organizers of the exhibition-contest were the Irkutsk Regional Art Museum named after V. P. Sukachev, IRO VTOO "Union of Artists of Russia", Irkutsk National Research Technical University.

The participants of the exhibition will be graduates of the leading centers of higher and secondary art education in Russia, as well as the countries of Central Asia, who will present their diploma works completed in the last four years (2013 - 2016). Spectators will be presented with works of easel painting, printed graphics, textiles, ceramics, monumental and decorative art, photography. In addition, works of graphic design, costume design, interior design, urban environment and jewelry.

The competition jury of the festival will determine the winners, the authors of the best works will be awarded special diplomas “Banner of Peace”.

The upcoming show will allow you to appreciate the unique national and cultural traditions of art schools, as well as provide lively, direct creative communication to young artists. Such meetings are the most effective dialogue that can unite the efforts of people of culture, art and science in establishing good neighborly relations in the modern world.

Exhibition-competition will be held at the address: Irkutsk, st. K. Marx, 23, Gallery of Siberian Art, Irkutsk Regional Art Museum. V.P. Sukachev. Applications for participation in the exhibition-competition are filled out on the website mir-kultura.ru in the section "Applications for participation" - "International exhibition-competition of diploma works". The exhibition will open on September 8, 2016 at 15.00. Entrance to the opening is free.
