World premiere of the ballet "Masha and the Nutcracker"

January 7, 2016 at 12.00 on the stage of the Palace of Culture. Gorky (square Stachek, d. 4.) Honored Artist of Russia Ilya Kuznetsov, students of the Children’s Ballet School Ilya Kuznetsov and the Charity Fund “Advocacy and Revival of Russian Art” present the world premiere of the ballet “Masha and The Nutcracker”.

“Our fairy tale, which may turn out to be no fiction at all, begins on the eve of Christmas at the fashion school of design, which belongs to Madame Dee, the famous and authoritative fashion world. Everyone is preparing for the Christmas ball, and the Headmistress instructs the students to invent and create magical outfits for the holiday evening… but the girl Masha sews a doll that resembles an old Nutcracker doll for chopping nuts and, contrary to circumstances, real miracles begin… "

Classical ballet in 2 acts to the music of P. I. Tchaikovsky with the participation of ballet stars and pupils of the Children’s Ballet School Ilya Kuznetsov. The performance is accompanied by the Tauride International Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Mikhail Golikov. The choreography of Peter Bazaron, the stylistic concept of fashion designer Tatyana Parfenova, the original scenography of the artist Marcel Kalmagambetov create an indescribable feeling of a Christmas fairy tale and festive magic.

The new storyline distinguishes the performance from many similar productions and makes it a unique ballet event.
