The exhibition of paintings by Konstantin Korovin from the collection of the Russian Museum (St. Petersburg) opened in Kazan on November 2, 2016. For the first time in Kazan, forty-eight paintings are presented, as well as documents and photographs representing a wide and versatile panorama of the work of one of the most brilliant Russian painters of the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, Konstantin Alekseevich Korovin. Since the opening day, the exhibition of works by a remarkably gifted person and artist, teacher, memoirist writer Konstantin Korovin has been visited by 23 thousand residents and guests of Kazan.

The Transfiguration Chamber Choir was created by the choral conductor Nikolai Belyaev as a collective uniting professional musicians and music lovers on a free creative basis. The first performance of the team took place in 1994. Since 2000, the chamber choir "Transfiguration" has been a constant creative activity. During the joint work, the following projects were implemented: concert cycles on the history of Russian sacred music; CD-recording of Russian sacred music “Transfiguration of the Soul” (2001) and “On the Way to the Light” (2004), Russian folk songs “Songs of the Heart” (2006); creation of musical and poetic programs “Finding oneself” (2005) and “Breath of Beauty” (2007). The choir constantly performs in concert halls and churches of Kazan and Tatarstan, participates in Russian and international festivals, successfully tours in Russia and abroad.
