In the first part of the evening, Roman Anatolyevich Gatilov, senior researcher at the Pushkin Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan, will talk about the life and work of Kuzma Sergeyevich Petrov-Vodkin, a Russian and Soviet painter, graphic artist, art theoretician, writer and teacher, Honored Artist of the RSFSR. One of the artist’s early works “In the Cafe” is presented at the current exhibition “Russian Painting of the Late 19th – Early 20th Centuries” from the collections of the Russian Museum and the Pushkin Museum.
