"Nostalgia" by artist Vladimir Orlov

From June 1 to June 15, 2015, an exhibition of Leningrad artist Vladimir Orlov will be held in the ARTMUZA creative cluster. It will feature paintings and graphic works by the author of different years.

A special place in the artist’s work is occupied by the charm of the patriarchal corners of Russia and Leningrad landscapes. The author is characterized by sharp graphics, sometimes reaching expression in combination with free brushwork, bright, clear colors. Evsey Moiseenko (Soviet painter, graphic artist and teacher, professor) had a great influence on the work of Vladimir Orlov.

Vladimir Orlov was born and raised in Leningrad. He graduated from the art and graphic faculty of the Russian State Pedagogical University. Herzen. His works are in private collections in Russia, Japan, the USA and Germany.
