Bright musical program “Orchestra over the free Neva. From XX century to XXI "will take place on October 21 at the KSK Tinkoff Arena. Symphonic music will connect with the stage, and the classics with the show. The concert is timed to coincide with the 90th anniversary of the Petersburg concert. Start at 19.00

Legendary world romantic hits, jazz improvisations, the most popular Soviet songs will be performed by the Variety Symphony Orchestra. A.S.Badkhen under the direction of Andrei Medvedev. It is not by chance that the new team bears the name of the maestro. It was created as a successor and continuer of the best musical traditions of the famous Leningrad Concert Orchestra of Anatoly Badkhen.

Having emerged in the early 60s of the XX century, the Orchestra became one of the brightest phenomena on the Soviet stage. His concerts with the participation of the best performers of the country: from L. Senchina to I. Kobzon were held at the most famous venues in Moscow and Leningrad. For example, it was the Badchen Orchestra that was chosen as stage partner in December 1986 at a concert by the great French composer and jazz pianist Michel Legrand.

The prologue of the concert program will be the legendary measures of the "Evening Song" (The City above the Free Neva…), accompanied by shots illustrating the milestones of the Badchen Orchestra’s creative life on a giant panoramic screen. Then the audience will plunge into the romantic world of pop-symphonic sound and enjoy their favorite musical and song compositions performed by the musicians of the orchestra. The concert will also be attended by the winner of the show "Voice" on the First Channel Peter Zakharov.

The performance of the People’s Artist of Russia Larisa Dolina, whose great musical and creative path is closely connected with the Leningrad Concert Orchestra, will become the evening’s code.
