Personal exhibition of photo-artist Alexey Wind "PLAY"

From December 4 to 13 in the FotoLoft gallery at the territory of the Center for Contemporary Art Winery for the first time in Moscow there will be a personal exhibition of photo-artist from New York Alexey Wind.

Alexey Wind will present the PLAY photo project created in New York, where he lives, works, creates and experiments with photography styles and techniques over the past 5 years. The quintessence of this experience will be the PLAY exposition, consisting of his works in the style of pop art nude and several art installations. Being a fan of contemporary art and pop art style, Alexey combined these two directions in his photo works, creating his own unique style of photography “pop art nude”.

In his works, the author does not focus the attention of the viewer on eroticism, but achieves the effect of temptation by adding unusual color combinations, using modern digital technologies and geometric shapes. Alexey sees the female body as a white canvas with which he "plays", adding shadows, geometric shapes, symbols of the modern era, bright colors. Thus, Alexey Wind photo works are distinguished by a variety of colors and elements, which he combines with elegant female bodies. His works awaken the viewer to expand the horizons of his consciousness, lead to discoveries regarding the beauty of the human body and allow him to look at him as an art object.

In addition to the exposition of more than 30 photos, guests will find DJ sets from Vanya Vasiliev (MTV) and Vanya Vega (Megapolis FM), a performance during which everyone will have the opportunity to make their own photo in the PLAY style, as well as lectures from the photo artist himself, residents of Megapolis FM and other famous art figures in Moscow.

Undoubtedly, the opening of the PLAY exhibition on December 4 at the Winery promises to be an interesting and memorable event.

About the artist:

Alexey Wind - artist, photographer, filmmaker. In 2010, he moved from Moscow to New York to reveal his creative potential in the capital of world art. For 5 years, Alexey worked in the fashion industry, collaborated with many TVs, took part in various creative and art projects. In front of his lens were such stars as Naomi Campbell, Robert De Niro, Drew Barimore, Sisters Olsen, Victoria’s Secret models and other Hollywood stars. In 2014, he began working on his photo project PLAY, which aroused great interest among the public in the United States. His works are presented in high-level galleries in Miami and New York, and will soon be presented in Moscow.
