In 2022, Qatar will host the next World Cup. But now more than 1.6 million migrant workers are involved in the construction of sports facilities. Arriving from India, Nepal, Bangladesh, the Philippines, and in large numbers from Africa, the world’s poorest people are engaged in the most unskilled labor to ensure that the championship is held in the richest country in the world. Working irregularly and for a meager salary, they live in construction camps isolated from large cities. Once inside them flashes their own championship - The Workers Cup.
