Premiere of the film "The First World War. WW1"

In the film almanac, novels from directors from the USA, Serbia, Germany, Turkey, England, Russia and France are collected in a single film with a cross-cutting plot. Each director has his own perception of the events of that war. But their opinions are united in one thing - war does not spare anyone…

- One hundred years - time to forgive. One hundred years is the time to remember. The film was shot for our edification, so that we, the inhabitants of the 21st century, protect the world on Earth, so that we remember! - says Igor Ugolnikov.

The hero of the film (Ivan Krasko), telling his young great-granddaughter (Anna Sorokina) about the First World War, recalls the stories of his father about comrades who, by the will of fate, had to go through her millstone of war. A shot-through icon, a map, a story printed in the Niva magazine, a dried clover and a faded photograph in the album - all this brings back memories of terrible grimaces of war, ruined lives and unfulfilled dreams. On his centenary, his great-grandfather is sure that there is no greater happiness in the world than a peaceful sky above his head.
