RA "Premium Service" made a gift to lovers of modern painting

The Premium Service advertising agency has issued a gift art calendar dedicated to the work of contemporary St. Petersburg artist Alexander Ivanov.

On the 12 pages of the calendar are reflected both the last works of the painter, such as “Night”, “Under the moon”, and earlier paintings: “Your paths are inscrutable”, “Last day of autumn”, “Hidden in the grass”, “My answer Malevich ”,“ Red Square ”.

All works selected for the calendar provide an opportunity to immerse yourself in the artist’s author’s world, drunk with philosophical thoughts about the quirkiness and fragility of the universe, about the place of man on this earth and his role in the divine plan. The paintings of Alexander Ivanov are imbued with the true spirit of romance, which has less and less space in the reality around us. His works disarm with their sincerity and allow us to look at the world around us from a different angle, free from the shackles of modern civilization.

Alexander Ivanov was born in Leningrad in 1971. After graduating from the historical faculty of the Herzen State Pedagogical University, he lived in Amsterdam for 10 years, where he was engaged in painting and restoration of antique furniture. In 2004, his first solo exhibitions took place in Cafe Eijlders and Galleriecafe “Het Molenpad”.

Currently, the artist lives in St. Petersburg and is part of the creative association “Which Net”. The artist’s works are regularly exhibited at exhibitions in St. Petersburg, Moscow and Helsinki.
