"Work of the Year 2018". Exhibition of the Sculpture Department of the Russian Academy of Arts

From November 27 to November 30, 2018, the traditional annual exhibition will be held in the halls of the Russian Academy of Arts in Moscow (Prechistenka 21), where the masters of the PAX sculpture department will present their easel works created this year.

The exhibition will include works by the President of the Russian Academy of Arts Z.K. Tsereteli, academicians - A.V. Tsigalya, A.N. Kovalchuk, G.I. Pravotorova, M.V. Pereyaslavets, A.N. Burganova, A.I. Rukavishnikova, S.G. Milchenko, D.N. Tugarinova, M.V. Dronova, S.A. Shcherbakova and other famous contemporary sculptors.

The works presented by the members of the Department will reveal the main directions of development of modern sculpture, especially - shaping, compositional construction, provides an opportunity to consider the variety of figuratively-stylistic solutions of easel plastics. The exhibition will reveal the diversity of art trends of our time and will be a great opportunity to see the works of the largest masters of sculpture.

As part of the exhibition project, a conference organized by the Sculpture Department of the Russian Academy of Arts will be held in the White Hall of the Russian Academy of Arts (Prechistenka 21). The conference will be attended by famous researchers - art critics and leading Russian sculptors.
