Show-exhibition of disappearing paintings "Ultraviolet World"

Since May 27, 2021, the Kaluga Museum of Fine Arts presents a show-exhibition of disappearing paintings "The World of Ultraviolet Light".

The exposition includes more than forty mesmerizing works that combine amazing colors and glow that cannot be found in nature. The paintings are made with special ink, visible only under ultraviolet light. In daylight, you can see only empty canvases, or a separate part of the depicted plot. But in the dark, when special lamps are turned on, bright color images "appear" on the surfaces of the paintings: portraits of famous personalities, famous world architectural monuments and funny animals. The light rays used are absolutely safe for health.

When creating the exhibition, the nature of light radiation was studied for a long time, constantly experimenting and bringing the result to perfection, it was possible to create memorable images. The use of innovative technologies allows you to create a fundamentally new vision of the world around you, which will be interesting to people of all ages.

The exhibition will run from May 27 to June 20, 2021.
