Performance "Pushkin and Money"

The story is about how much a glass, a serf boy, one line of “Eugene Onegin”, rent of an apartment, a bride’s dress, dueling pistols, lunch in a roadside tavern cost at the time of Pushkin. And did Pushkin have enough for all this of his salary of five thousand rubles a year.

The performance is interesting for both adults and children who get the opportunity to plunge during the life of one who is commonly called "our everything."

ABOUT THEATER.

Theater of documentary play THEATER. DOC was created in 2002 by several playwrights. This is a non-governmental, non-profit, independent, collective project. Most of the performances are THEATER. DOC - in the genre of documentary theater. Documentary theater, based on genuine texts, interviews and the fates of real people, is a special genre that exists at the junction of art and topical social analysis. Creative groups of the theater create performances based on meetings with real people, on the most relevant and timely topics of the surrounding reality. The testimonies of real people are used, verbatim technique, “deep improvisation”, theater games and trainings.

A lot of articles have been written about the performances of the theater, they were awarded a variety of prizes. They were invited to prestigious theater festivals in Poland, France, Germany, Hungary, the Baltic countries, and large Russian cities. The theater received the Most Creative Theater awards from Creative magazine, 2003, and the Stalker film festival, 2005
