Stas Svetochenkov. 1965 - 2018. Painting, graphics

The exhibition is dedicated to the memory of the famous Petersburg artist Stanislav Georgievich Svetochenkov. The exhibition will feature paintings and graphic works from different years from the collection of the Borey gallery and private estates.

Stas Svetochenkov was born in St. Petersburg in 1965, studied at the Leningrad Civil Engineering Institute and at the Academy of Arts. Repin at the architectural faculties. He studied etching techniques in the workshop of German Pakharevsky. Since 1999, a member of the Union of Artists of St. Petersburg. For many years he was engaged only in etchings, then tried to interpret the same subjects in watercolor. In the late 80s he began to paint. In his works, Stas mainly uses the oil on canvas technique, as well as the techniques of Italian Renaissance masters and Russian artists of the late 19th century. He began exhibition activities in 1987. Personal and group exhibitions were held in major museums and galleries in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Monaco, Nice, Lucerne, Kufstein (Austria), Chrudim, (Czech Republic).
