From 10 to 28 January 2019 in the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Luxembourg will be held a personal exhibition of paintings and pastels of the St. Petersburg artist Larisa Akhmadeeva.
The exhibition in Luxembourg is a continuation of her successful creative visits to the Netherlands. In December 2017, the first exhibition of Larisa Akhmadeeva in The Hague, organized by the international charitable foundation “Anna Pavlova”, took place at the Theater de Muse (Nordwijk). And in March of the following year, the second personal exhibition and master classes of the artist were held at the Russian Embassy in the Netherlands. At the same time, a series of paintings about the beautiful Dutch cities of The Hague, Delft and Lelystad appeared. And of course about the ballet in the presentation of young artists of the International Academy of Classical Russian Ballet Vladislav Kuramshin.
The exhibition at the embassy was very warmly received by the public, and already in September last year, these works decorated the pavilion of the Russian Federation at the international embassy festival in The Hague.
In December 2018, the exhibition of the exhibition of 50 works by the artist, organized with the support of the representative office of the FA Rossotrudnichestvo in Belgium, was accompanied by a solemn “Eve before Christmas” at the Russian Center for Science and Culture of Brussels. There were presented works performed in different periods of creativity: ballet and backstage sketches in various theaters and dance classes, as well as picturesque urban landscapes written in St. Petersburg and in creative trips around old Europe.
In continuation of the traveling activities of Larisa Akhmadeeva, the exhibition in Luxembourg will present both the previously exhibited works and new ones written for Christmas in Brussels.
Larisa Akhmadeeva has been a member of the St. Petersburg Union of Artists since 2004. It was in St. Petersburg, the cultural capital of Russia, that her creative journey began, and wonderful personal exhibitions took place in the union of artists, in the foyer of St. Petersburg theaters, the Conservatory, the Konstantinovsky Palace. Larisa is a member of the International Biennale of Pastels in Poland and France, as well as exhibitions of Petersburg artists in England, Italy, and Finland. The works of Larisa Akhmadeeva are in state museums, cultural funds and private collections.
We invite you to get acquainted with the works of art and dive into the world of art at the opening day, which will take place on January 10 at the Russian Center for Science and Culture of Luxembourg at Luxembourg, 32, rue Goethe.
