VOCAL CONCERT. DEDICATED TO GEORGE OTS

We invite to the concert of the winner of International competitions Andrei Sergeyev (baritone). With the participation of Natalia Bogdanova. The concert is dedicated to the outstanding Estonian singer People’s Artist of the USSR Georg Ots. He first appeared on the stage of the Estonia Theater in 1945. Thirty years later, in this theater, thousands and thousands of his fans forever said goodbye to the singer. The whole vast country — the Soviet Union, whose peoples considered him their singer — said farewell to Georg Ots. Until now, songs and arias performed by him are being played on the radio, and the famous film “Mr. X” is shown on television. And in spite of any changes, the work of the Estonian singer is remembered and honored in all the former republics of a great country, in other countries.
