Vologda. Special project in the framework of the exhibition "Lace for show"

Starting from August 13, the Vologda special project will be held at the All-Russian Museum of Decorative, Applied and Folk Art Exhibition "Lace for show" .

The history of lace crafts is impossible to imagine without the legendary Vologda lace. The special project "Vologda" will present more than twenty exhibits from the collection of the Lace Museum, a branch of the Vologda State Historical, Architectural and Art Museum-Reserve. Napkins, tablecloths, panels, made by leading lace-makers of the craft, will not leave anyone indifferent, and pelerines and lace jackets from Vologda lace do not need to be presented. All exhibits are made by such landmark artists in the history of lace-making as Veselova V.D., Rakcheeva A.N., Smirnova T.N., Mamrovskaya G.N., Palnikova M. Yu. In the 1990-2010s.
