In early June, due to the large influx of applications, the organizers of the competition decided to postpone the deadline for accepting entries for July 29, 2015. Summing up and an exhibition of works on the embankment of Yalta will be held on August 9, 2015. Pictures will also be exhibited at the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in Moscow.
To date, more than 50 paintings in three age categories have been submitted to the competition. At the same time, the number of registered applications for which work will be submitted to the competition at least twice as much.
The overall level of work is quite high - both professional artists and art lovers submit applications for the competition. In particular, one of the authors is a well-known Crimean artist, member of the Union of Artists of Russia and the Russian Association of Marine Artists Alexei Petrukhin.
The geography of applications for the contest is quite extensive - participants are registered from such cities as Perm, Borisoglebsk, Tagil, Nizhny Novgorod, St. Petersburg and others.
