Pavel Obukh St. Petersburg monumental artist who works in various techniques of wall painting, mosaics, easel painting, easel graphics, book graphics and watercolors.

The exhibition introduces one of the sides of the author’s creative work, with his graphic and watercolor works.

Obukh Pavel Vladislavovich

Born in 1952 in the city of Leningrad in a family of artists.

Parents - People’s Artist of the MSSR Vladislav Andreevich Obukh and Honored Art Worker of the MSSR, laureate of the State Prize of the MSSR Zazerskaya Wilhelmina Dmitrievna.

1969-72 - Leningrad Art and Pedagogical College named after V. Serova.

1972 - 1977 - Leningrad Higher Art and Industrial College named after V. Mukhina, Department of monumental and decorative painting, class of professor A.A. Kazantsev. Teachers: E.F. Prikot, K.L. Johansen, O.I. Kuznetsov, V.G. Lekanov.

Since 1977 - participant of republican, all-union and foreign exhibitions.

from 1977 -1994 - worked in the system of the Art Fund of Moldova, Chisinau.

1982 - the cycle of paintings in the State Circus of Chisinau is named among the best works for the five-year period of the activities of the USSR Art Fund.

Since 1984 - Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.

1993 - winner of the international competition in Germany. Four panels for the Hilton Hotel, Seoul, South Korea.

Since 1995 - a member of the Wall Association of Monumental Artists of St. Petersburg.

Since 1998 - Member of the Society of Watercolorists of St. Petersburg.

2004 - awarded the "Diploma of the Russian Academy of Arts" for interior painting art design by the club "A-ELITE"

2006-2014 - Associate Professor, Department of Costume Design, St. Petersburg State University of Service and Economics.

Member of the State Certification Commission of the Art and Industry Academy named after Stieglitz in monumental art.

The author of more than three dozen works on the facades and interiors of public buildings, in private interiors.

Member of more than 100 art exhibitions in Russia and abroad.
