Graduation project of students of the Aesthetics: Art-Business Program of the Philosophy Faculty of Moscow State University Lomonosov ’’ TODAY 23/06 # why did you just think? ’’ Will be held as an art experiment

The curators asked artists working in different genres, techniques, directions, one question - what excites you here and now? The creators of the exhibition study the concept of “contemporary art” in its narrowest interpretation - the timeliness and pithiness of the artist’s statements not even in the time period limited by the conditional frames “year”, “month”, “week”, but at this particular moment - relevance exaggerated until the possibilities of being only at this time and only in this place.

The curators set the task for artists and spectators to understand whether there is a unity of themes and problems at a specific moment in time of creation, which excites the creators, united by space and time, about which they tell us? What is this hour? And is there actually this moment of awareness of life, the beat of our pulse here and now - that is, is it relevant? Is there always an act of creating a work of art - and no matter how long it lasted! - retrospective?

The point of intersection of the coordinates of space and time is the K35 art gallery, where from 23.06 will be presented works in a variety of techniques - painting, photography, installation, art objects and performance art.
