Exhibition of Anatoly Chechik "Nomo Ludens"

The Russian Academy of Arts presents an exhibition of works by painter, architect, set designer, director Anatoly Chechik "Nomo Ludens".

The exposition will include more than 120 works of different years.

The name of Anatoly Chechik is well known to the Moscow audience. Numerous personal exhibitions of the artist were held in the largest halls and museums of the capital. For the second time he presents his works at the MVK RAH. An emotional, deeply thinking author, he is always new, unexpected, both in his pictorial and plastic interpretations, and in the drama of each next exhibition project. The title of his new exhibition "Nomo Ludens" is a kind of allusion to the well-known treatise of the Dutch historian, philosopher and cultural scientist J. Huizinga. At the same time, it is a deeply author’s pictorial drama, a new part of his creative monologue - an artistic understanding of human fate, the fate of the world, human passions.
