October 6, 2015 in the gallery-workshop "Varshavka" Association "Exhibition Halls of Moscow" opens an exhibition of children’s works "Atlas of rare species." This is an original collection of the Caliccianer project, which is a study of various forms of gathering in an ironic and grotesque design.

Zhukarus-awesome

Very large insects and very toothy fish undoubtedly belong to the early unexplored individuals of the diverse fauna. Their habits, behavioral features, habitats and obvious artistic value became a serious reason for creating a sculptural and scientific work - “Atlas of rare species”.

Cliopterus-Zhukulius

With the help of cardboard and paper, glue and paints, the children tried to answer the question about the meaning of collecting and accumulation in general. Of course, in an ironic form. Together with teachers from the Isopark children’s art gallery, young collectors created their own Red Book. Here are Klioptera-Zhukulius, and Zhukarus-ofigennus, and Zhukus-indicus - each with a description of habits and habitat.

The exhibition will be interesting for both children and adults. And, perhaps, when you come home, you will find the houses of one of the inhabitants of the Atlas or create your own!
