Exhibition "Baikal Regions. Angarsk. Infinity of Search"

February 7 at 17.00 in the Gallery of Siberian Art (Karl Marx St., 23) opens the exhibition "Infinity of Search", which begins the long-term museum project "Baikal Regions". The exhibition includes works by Angarsk artists: Tatyana Danilova, Yulia Bardina, Andrey Tumanov, Olga Bardina, Alexander Imedeev, Alexander Samarin, Olga Novokreshchenny, Sergey Atavin, Andrey Kozlov, Vladimir Ivanov.

In the second half of the 20th century, in the Angara region, in addition to Irkutsk, their own separate art centers were formed in various cities of the region: Angarsk, Sayansk, Shelekhov, Ust-Ilimsk, Bratsk, Usolye-Sibirsky. The exhibition project "Baikal Regions" is intended to show the uniqueness of each of them.

Angarsk is one of the oldest cultural centers in the region. Basically, the urban art elite is the middle generation, people who are at the peak of creativity. They are graduates of the Irkutsk Art College, the Krasnoyarsk State Art Institute, the Irkutsk Research Technical University (Department of MDI), and the Irkutsk Pedagogical Institute.

The exhibition emphasizes the variety of creative searches of Angarsk artists, in which long-standing cultural art traditions were formed. Today, Angarsk artists take part in city, regional, regional, national and international exhibitions. Their work is an integral part of the cultural life of Siberia and Russia.

The exhibition "Infinity of Search" will open on February 7 at 17.00 in the Gallery of Siberian Art of the Irkutsk Art Museum (23 Karl Marx St.) and will run until March 1. Entrance to the opening is free.
