Exhibition "Color and Image" by artists Vasily, Valentina, Ivan and Grigory Zhezhel

August 17 at 16-00 in the Kaluga Museum of Fine Arts (Lenin St., 103 will be the grand opening of the exhibition "Color and Image" by artists Vasily, Valentina, Ivan and Grigory Zhezhel.

The exhibition presents works by the dynasty of artists Zhezhel, performed in different genres and techniques, but they are all united by the primacy of the coloristic beginning. In their works, color creates a mood, conveys feelings, defines a figurative reading of a work, and, finally, gives rise to aesthetic pleasure in the viewer.

By the movement of color, the arrangement of local color relationships, the harmony of all the components of the picture, whether it is a designation of form or semi-plot states, the artists convey their vision of the world, real or imaginable.

Zhezhel Vasily Grigoryevich, a member of the Moscow Union of Artists, a participant in many exhibitions, in his works follows a poetic form, somewhat conceptual in nature. The philosophy of worldview lies in the aesthetics of his works, in a wide range of compositional constructions, than in combination with variations of pictorial sensations and coloristic states.

Zhezhel Valentina Ivanovna, a member of the Moscow Union of Artists, a participant in numerous exhibitions, with an extraordinary sense of color, embodied in the decorative language of her work. Perceiving the world around her in a special way, she realizes herself with the characteristic temperament in creating her works of art. The beauty of things that come out of her hands is very unusual and based on deep experiences of reality, and then realized in a creative and utilitarian-technical process, as a result of which it creates tapestries, batiks, and matter.

Her flexibility in color decisions is impressive - throughout her career, she has not been the same, but always her things are filled with amazing expression. With vast experience and ease of execution, she creates her things directly from nature and using the plot impression. From here her compositions, landscapes, still lifes are born.

Zhezhel Ivan Vasilievich is a very elegant painter, a delicate approach to business draws attention to his works, which are based on deep sensations of color and the resulting color, which magically affects the viewer. The artist is distinguished by subtle color combinations and therefore the choice of material is not accidental - pastel is technically difficult to use, but gives the desired hidden tone. Moving experimentally, he uses oil and tempera painting. Also works in the technique of hot batik. Since 2016 - Member of the Moscow Union of Artists.

Zhezhel Grigory Vasilievich. The successor of the creative ideas and views of their parents. He works in the technique of hot batik. His works are filled with the meaning and subtlety of conveying compositional ideas! Since 2016 - Member of the Moscow Union of Artists.
