Exhibition by Dmitry Prigov "Space for an echo"

An exhibition of one of the key representatives of Moscow conceptualism Dmitry Prigov "Space for an echo", timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of Duke Belyaevo, is opening in the Belyaevo gallery of the Moscow Exhibition Halls Association.

Dmitry Aleksandrovich Prigov, an outstanding representative of Soviet unofficial culture, is spoken of as a universal artist, experimenter, and shocking innovator - and he just lived and did what he saw fit. The dramaturgy of the exhibition, the construction of images, the visual structure continues Dmitry Alexandrovich’s artistic quest in a space where times and civilizations mix, a “new sensitivity” of our era opens with its differently sounding voices and, as the poet said, “a space of desire”.

The exposition will feature video documentation of Dmitry Prigov’s performances and performances, audio walks with the Duke of Belyaevo, rare photographs of Dmitry Prigov with friends, family, on vacation, provided by the Dmitry Prigov Foundation.

As part of the opening of the exhibition, a premiere screening of a film prepared based on the results of a poetic online marathon by the creative association Station Dno in partnership with the Belyaevo Gallery, the Dostoevsky Library and the N.F. Fedorov Museum-Library with the support of the Fund D A. Prigova.
