Exhibition of Yegor Plotnikov "Not far from home"

The exhibition of Yegor Plotnikov “Near the house” is dedicated to empty territories located at the junction of human habitats and wildlife, spaces that are located next to us, but invisible, and, if used, leave a person indifferent.

The artist continues to study the theme of the real landscape as a social landscape and a picturesque landscape, as a “museum” genre that exists on the periphery of the current cultural field.

Biography

Egor Plotnikov was born in 1980 in the city of Kirov (Russia).
In 2000 he graduated from the Vyatka Art College. A.A. Rylova.
In 2006 - Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov.
In 2006-2010 Trained at the Creative workshops of the Russian Academy of Arts.
In 2006 he joined the Moscow Union of Artists.

Participant of exhibitions since 1994, including in Russia, Italy, Belgium, England, Germany, USA, Denmark, Sweden.

The works are in private collections in Russia and other countries, as well as in the collections of the Russian Academy of Arts, the Russian Culture Foundation, the Moscow Union of Artists and Russian regional museums.
