Elena Starova is an artist of arts and crafts, a talented sculptor, graphic artist, fashion designer, has been professionally engaged in a creative career for many years. Graduated from St. Petersburg State Art Theater named after V. I. Mukhina, faculty of arts and crafts, department of sculpture.

Personal exhibition of Starova “In Search of Beauty” is dedicated to male and female beauty. An exciting search for differences in the plasticity of the male and female bodies, a reflection of the different perceptions of the world. The search for the innermost, implicit and beautiful that occurs between two people. Inspiration by the plasticity of Greek sculptures and the art of the Renaissance epoch greatly influenced the creation of this exhibition series. The pastel technique and color scheme were “suggested” by the impressionist artists: Degas, Renoir, Egon Schiele. All these components were combined into a personal formula for the author, thanks to which volume, space and monumentality are felt in each composition.
