Exhibition of graphics "LIGHT Shadow" by Anastasia Gurova (Omsk)

On August 12, in the Gallery of Siberian Art (Karl Marx St., 23), an exhibition of graphics "LIGHT SHADOW" by the famous Omsk artist Anastasia Gurova begins its work. The exposition includes 45 works made in the technique of unique graphics, as well as decorative and applied arts. Anastasia Gurova is the winner of several awards at the All-Russian graphic competitions.

The artist’s graphic works embody the impressions of creative trips and travels, as well as observing the changing states of nature, often from a home window. Her sheets are distinguished by a specific rhythmic structure, which creates a special emotional mood, accentuation of planes and spots, a pure contrast of combinations of black and white, emphasizing the texture of an object. The artist speaks modestly about his own work: "I solve the problem of balance between black and white."

Anastasia Gurova was born on October 9, 1978 in the city of Omsk. Graduated from the graphic arts faculty of the Omsk State Pedagogical University. M. Gorky. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 2005. She taught at the Omsk State Pedagogical University at the Department of Drawing. Teaches basic disciplines at the children’s art school №3 in Omsk named after E. Gurova. Permanent participant of regional, zonal, regional, Russian, all-union, international exhibitions.
