Exhibition "Irkutsk. Traditions. Patrons. Dasha Namdakov"

February 6 at 16.00 in the Gallery of Siberian Art will open the exhibition "Irkutsk. Traditions. Patrons. Dashi Namdakov. " The exhibition includes works from private collections, as well as from the funds of the Irkutsk Art Museum, including new ones, which the museum will present for the first time in its halls. The new exhibition of Dasha Namdakova is a significant cultural event for Irkutsk, in which the path of one of the most famous sculptors began 20 years ago.

In February 2000, the first solo exhibition of the young 33-year-old sculptor Dasha Namdakov took place in the halls of the Irkutsk Art Museum, after which the author began to be recognized worldwide. Irkutsk was followed by an exposition at the Central House of Artists in Moscow, and a year later, in New York. To date, personal exhibitions of Dasha Namdakova have been held in many countries of the world.

Dashi Namdakov immediately declared himself as an integral and distinctive artist. As a master with incredible creative energy, he is close to one type of art, today his work organically includes the creation of works of sculpture, graphics, monumental, jewelry.

At the end of the first exhibition, the author donated several works to the Irkutsk Art Museum, and the remaining works of the master were acquired by collectors of the city. Today, Irkutsk has an impressive collection of works by Dasha Namdakov, most of which are acquired by private collectors and gallery owners. The Irkutsk Regional Art Museum stores 11 works by the master, including 9 sculptures and 2 graphic works. The exhibition is held with the assistance of the Fund for the Support of Spiritual Development and Culture of Irkutsk.

Exhibition "Irkutsk. Traditions. Patrons. Dasha Namdakov ”will open on February 6 at 16. 00 in the Gallery of Siberian Art of the Irkutsk Art Museum (23 Karl Marx St.) and will be open until March 1. Entrance to the opening is free. Phone for inquiries: 33-43-89.
