Exhibition "The Wrong Side and What’s Inside"

As part of the Third Place program to support young artists, an exhibition of works by the participants of the First Summer Sculpture School of Ekaterina Sokolovskaya, which took place this summer in the Novgorod region, will be held in the space of the mansion on Liteiny from September 20 to October 2.

The exposition will bring together the works of 19 artists of various trends from Moscow and St. Petersburg, dedicated to the study of the forms of modern sculpture.

The seamy side of the forest, presented through the eyes of a city dweller; The seamy side of the sculptural processes, which most of the school’s artists first encountered, became the inspiration for the creation of installations, objects and videos exhibited in the interiors of an old mansion.

Closed borders and travel difficulties prompted artists to invent new ways to collaborate with their foreign counterparts. Four teams of artists from the United States and Russia have been working together over the past six months to create projects for the eighth Art Prospect festival. They will share their experiences and discuss how the concept of intercultural cooperation is adapting in response to changes in the political, environmental, social and technological environment.

Special screening and discussion of the film with a film critic

Part of the proceeds from ticket sales will be transferred to the Oxygen charity foundation.
