Exhibition of Chinese painting "The Charm of Manchuria"

September 12 at the Irkutsk Art Museum. V.P. Sukachev will open an exhibition of works of art "The Charm of Manchuria."

Chinese national painting has a long history, called "Dan Ching" and is a treasure of Chinese art. The exhibition will feature works by famous Chinese artists created precisely in the spirit of ancient traditions - finely painted flowers bloom on the canvases, spread wings of birds, portraits and landscapes will make you spend time looking at all the details.

Holding an exhibition from Manchuria in Irkutsk is not accidental. In recent years, thanks to the joint efforts of the Government of Manchuria and the administration of Irkutsk, bilateral cooperation has been developing in various fields, including in exhibition activities. “The Charm of Manchuria” is another step in the development of friendship and cultural cooperation between the two cities. Ms. Bai Xiaojuan, Chairman of the Manchurian Foreign Cultural Exchange Society, Deputy Mayor of the Manchurian Government, is expected to attend the opening ceremony. The authors themselves and representatives of the creative circles of Manchuria will also come to Irkutsk.

The exhibition will be held for only four days from September 12 to September 14, 2016 in the Main building of the Irkutsk Art Museum at the address: st. Lenin, 5. The opening will take place on Monday September 12 at 15.00. In this regard, on Monday the museum will be open and available to visitors from 10.00 to 18.00. Entrance to the exhibition is free.
