Exhibition for the Theater Day - "Dreams of Columbine"

March 28, at 16.00 in the Estate of V.P. Sukachev (department of the Irkutsk Regional Art Museum named after V.P. Sukachev) opens the exhibition "Dreams of Columbine" dedicated to the Theater Day. This is a joint project of two artists, whose creative path is directly related to the theater. The main character of the works of artists Svetlana Voronina and Oksana Sizova is one of the most famous characters in the Italian comedy of masks - Colombina. A peasant by origin, a village idiot, in nature she is similar to Harlequin. Always in a good mood, ready to make fun of anyone, but at the same time honest and decent, she has long been a favorite of the public. In graphic and pictorial works, Colombina appears in her true many-sided guise, as if expressing the very essence of theatrical art.

The works of Oksana Sizova, who created the scenery for the Moscow Art Theater and A. Dzhigarkhanyan Theater, are also directly addressed to theatrical art.

At the opening of this truly vibrant spring exhibition, the literary and musical composition Dreams of Columbine will be shown. The program involves: Natalia Kalinina (poems), Zhanna Maksakova (vocals), Natalia Andrianova (vocals), Andrey Gideon (saxophone). The program will include songs by Natalia Andrianova (Shelekhov) and Leonid Bender (Irkutsk) to verses by Athanasius Fet, Natalya Kalinina, Raisa Lobatskaya.
