In the gallery "Belyaevo" Association "Exhibition Halls of Moscow" will open the exhibition "When my dad was small." The joint social and artistic project of the Moscow Union of Artists and the Association “Exhibition Halls of Moscow” “The World of Childhood” is being implemented as part of the state program “Decade of Childhood”.
The paintings and graphic works created by artists in fact throughout the history of the Moscow Union of Artists, are combined at the exhibition with the theme of childhood. These are memoirs of the authors about their own childhood, toys, world of fantasy and fairy tales. These are portraits of children, portraits of things, not fully expressed personal stories of the project participants. Imagery of reality, which formed that cozy and original world of boys and girls with “sekretik” in the yard, paper pigeons and boats, kites, dolls, cars, nets and butterflies, games with cars and war games, slingshot shooting, catch up, skating with slides on the school bag.
The exhibition will include works from the heritage of famous artists: E. Bragovsky, A. Surovtsev, P. Krivonogov, N. Medvedev, V. Svetlitsky, G. Serov, as well as works by Moscow masters: V. Glukhov, A. Lyubavin, Z. Tsereteli, V. Kalinina, V. Rusanov, A. Sukhovetsky and others. Works of young authors, recent graduates of art universities.
Along with the paintings, the exhibition will feature book illustration, sculpture, ceramics, designer toys, art objects and installations.
The curators of the exhibition are Olga Tikhonova, Vitaly Patsyukov.
