Exhibition by Markus Lüpertz

The Moscow Museum of Modern Art, together with the Michael Werner Gallery, present the first Moscow retrospective exhibition of Markus Lüpertz, one of the most famous German painters of our time. The project is part of the Year of Germany in Russia 2020-2021. The exhibition at MMOMA presents about 100 paintings and sculptures, including a number of key and representative works of the artist. All exhibited objects are the result of a unique author’s selection, ranging from works of the 1960s to the present day. The unique exposition gives the richest and most complete impression of both the artist’s work and his personality.
