Exhibition of the Museum of Cinema "Report from the set" in the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation

The exposition of unique photographs - reporting from the set is dedicated to the Year of Russian Cinema. September 27 at 9:40 in the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation (Miusskaya Square, 7) will open the exhibition "Report from the set", prepared by the State Central Museum of Cinema.

The opening ceremony will be held by a member of the RF OP Sangadzhi Tarbaev.

The exposition of unique photographs related to the creation of the legendary films of Russian cinema is dedicated to the Year of Russian Cinema. A collection of black-and-white photographs is presented from the museum’s funds, which captures the moments of the process of filming outstanding paintings. Among them - “Ivan the Terrible” (dir. Sergei Eisenstein; 1943-1945), “Cranes are flying” (dir. Mikhail Kalatozov; 1957), “The Quiet Don” (dir. Sergei Gerasimov; 1957-1958), “Nine Days one year "(dir. The special aesthetics of photographs creates a unique dramaturgy of the captured moment in history and as if opens the curtain into the “creative laboratory” of screen masters. Behind every archived photograph is a whole milestone in cinematic discoveries. In many photos, directors are captured on the set with colleagues - cameramen and leading actors.

The exposition "Report from the set" will last until October 4.
