Exhibition "Hope and Vladimir Khrustov" (Khabarovsk)

On March 4, an exhibition of artists from Khabarovsk - Nadezhda and Vladimir Khrustovs, starts working at the Gallery of Siberian Art (Karl Marx St., 23). The family creative tandem will present more than thirty works of art: paintings and decorative works using the cold batik technique.

Painting by Vladimir Khrustov, executed in the traditions of realism, is saturated with bright colors, a sense of light and harmony. He developed his creative style in the open air in the most picturesque places of the Far East. The artist is distinguished by a positive attitude towards life. The most important themes in creativity are the life and traditions of the indigenous peoples of the Far East, the nature of their native land.

Nadezhda Khrustova is a brilliant master of numerous techniques of batik, some of which she invented herself. On her canvases there is a whole world, changeable and mobile. As a true creator, Nadezhda solves the artistic task set before herself in every work. In addition to the decorative solution, the artist creates an image. Bold color relationships, successful decorative additions, exquisite line - these are the features of the artistic method of Nadezhda Khrustova. She managed to expand the scope of batik as a kind of decorative and applied art.

The exhibition of Nadezhda and Vladimir Khrustov will be open at the Gallery of Siberian Art (Karl Marx St., 23) until March 28. Due to the difficult epidemiological situation, visiting the museum is possible only by appointment (tel.: 33-43-89). The museum has a mask mode.
